Stock 150cc mufflers are highly restrictive. If you take one apart, you'll find various baffles and internal tubes which bend 180 degrees inside the muffler - creating a maze for the exhaust gasses to navigate outward and costing performance. The hammerhead exhaust in this kit eliminates all of those restrictions with it's single straight-through internal passage.
