Carburetor, 30mm CVK

This carburetor is meant for use on performance engines 175cc and higher.

This item requires the 30mm Solid Aluminum Intake Manifold. The original rubber intake is too small and won't fit.

Note on fit:

Before purchasing, be aware that this carburetor is physically larger than the original and is a difficult fit for most kart/buggy frames. It must be positioned at particular angle to work. This is due to interference between the upper frame cross-member on the top, and the long engine mount bolt on the bottom (touches the accelerator pump). To make it work, the carburetor will need to be tilted rearward so that the pump is locked under the engine mount bolt. When it is at the right angle, clamp it firmly into position. The rubber portion of the intake manifold may not be long enough, and should be replaced with a properly sized portion of radiator tubing. Don't make the tubing too long or you'll have running and reliability issues due to excessive vibration. The tighter fit (with the accelerator pump locked in place under the engine bolt) results in a smoother running engine.

This note isn't meant to serve as instructions, just a heads up that this part will take some finesse to fit. And a reminder to do your normal upgrade research on the forums before pulling the trigger on engine upgrades.
