This is our High-Flow Uni Filter Intake Kit. It comes fully assembled and bolts on. The two filter elements are washable, reusable, and can be used over and over. Comes with filter, connector assembly to attach to carb and oil.
Original air boxes on GY6 150's usually aren't very good at filtering much of anything. They pass an unacceptable amount of dust and debris leading to premature engine failure. This kit eliminates the stock air box altogether, mounting directly to the carburetor. This filter setup is hydrophobic, meaning that it repels entry of water droplets and is perfect for riding in even down pouring rain.

Note: DO NOT RUN A DRY FILTER!!! When oiling USE THE INCLUDED UNI OIL. DO NOT USE K&N or motor oil. They will NOT work properly. UNI oil is a tacky formula specifically designed for the large pores of the UNI filter. Use Genuine UNI oil or the filter will NOT be effective! When dirty wash with soap and warm water and re-oil filter.
THE ADAPTER IS A (VERY) TIGHT FIT. The included adapter that connects to your carburetor is intentionally a very tight fit on the carburetor neck. It won't just slide on. This prevents it from falling off even on rough trails. If you think you received a size too small, you didn't. It's exactly the size needed for a solid final fit. Just use your strong arm to get it on there with a bit of a twisting motion.
PLEASE READ BEFORE CALLING: When installing the filter allow the hoses to hang. There is positive air flow from the hoses and nothing will be sucked into your carb or engine.
